The company is owned and operated by Grant and Philippa Goile, who have over 25 years experience in the rental car industry. Ascot Rental Cars specialises in providing quality hire cars, sleeper vans and campervans at highly competitive rental rates -perfect for the price-conscious, backpackers, or other travellers who are looking to save on their transport budget.
Affordable Rental Cars
Ascot Rental Cars have a selection of popular and affordable rental cars and sleeper vans to suit most budgets. Our range offers:
• 3 & 5 door hatchbacks
• Large sedans
• Station wagons
• People movers
• Sleeper vans
• Camper vans
We operate a fleet of backpacker and quality vehicles in each of these categories. Ascot Rental Cars also have a range of trailers available for hire, ranging from standard caged trailers to larger furniture trailers.
Ascot Rental Cars are based in Christchurch, so all vehicles must leave and return to our Christchurch office.
• All vehicles are maintained to the highest possible standard and subject to a rigorous 6-monthly safety test.
• All vehicles are fully licensed and carry full comprehensive and third-party insurance cover, which is included in our rates. (Note: insurance cover is subject to excess.)
• All vehicles are covered by roadside breakdown assistance.
• Payment is by major credit cards, travellers’ cheques, cash or EFTPOS.
• Extended hire is available (subject to vehicle availability).
• Free unlimited kilometres on hires longer than 3 days.
• Free central city motel/hotel or backpacker pickup and drop off.
